Pharmacist

Job Description

As a Pharmacist at Pharmacare Ltd., you will play a crucial role in dispensing medications and providing comprehensive patient care. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication therapy outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for appropriateness and accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
• Provide drug information and counseling to patients and prescribers.
• Conduct medication reconciliations at transitions of care.
• Support the pharmacy team in operational excellence.
• Manage adverse drug reaction reporting and quality assurance.
• Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Promote a positive work environment and strong team dynamics.
• Support the organization's mission and goals through patient advocacy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Master's degree in Pharmacy or Healthcare Management is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy environment

Technical Skills

• Clinical Pharmacy
• Medication Therapy Management

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
