Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Air Crew Member, where you'll conduct aerial surveillance and reconnaissance operations in support of the South African Navy. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Engage in aircrew duties on naval helicopters during special missions.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks on aircraft systems.
• Collaborate with team members during mission planning.
• Assist with the training and development of junior crew members.
• Ensure operational readiness of aircraft and equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Completion of SANDF Aircrewman course or equivalent training

Experience

• 3+ years in an aircrewman role within a military setting.

Technical Skills

• Aviation Systems Operation
• Maintenance Skills

• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Valid medical certificate for aircrew
• Security clearance at TS level

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in search and rescue operations: Practical experience in executing search and rescue missions.
• Additional aviation certifications: Certifications in aviation maintenance or avionics preferred.
