Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Veterinarian to join our friendly and dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will provide medical care, perform surgeries, and conduct health checks on a variety of animals. You will work closely with pet owners to educate them on animal health and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Perform wellness checks and vaccinations.
• Oversee the care of hospitalized animals.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Advise pet owners on preventive healthcare measures.
• Collaborate in a team approach to veterinary care.
• Maintain and manage surgical equipment and medical supplies.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Additional certifications in animal behavior or surgery are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical veterinary setting

• Knowledge in nutrition and dietetics: Expertise in animal nutrition to provide dietary plans for health management.
