We are searching for a Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability and performance of our systems in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring system stability while implementing DevOps practices for efficient deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve service resilience and reliability.
• Review architecture and infrastructure to ensure compliance with SRE principles.
• Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and outages.
• Collaborate on code reviews and system design discussions to optimize performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in site reliability roles

Technical Skills

• Terraform
• CI/CD Tools

Certifications

• Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Languages

• English: Fluent
