Job Description

As a Police Operations Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of police activities in Cape Town. This position calls for a proactive individual with a strong understanding of law enforcement strategies and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all police operations and ensure high standards of service delivery.
  • Engage with community organizations to promote safety awareness.
  • Develop comprehensive operational plans and resource allocation strategies.
  • Track and report on crime trends and develop responses.
  • Maintain effective communication with media to convey important safety information.
  • Participate in local and regional committees related to public safety.
  • Implement community policing initiatives to build relationships with residents.
  • Establish partnerships with other law enforcement agencies to enhance public safety efforts.
  • Analyze performance metrics and prepare recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or Public Safety
  • Master's degree in a relevant field preferred
