We are seeking a talented Footwear Designer to join our creative team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for fashion and a strong grasp of design principles, with the ability to create unique footwear that reflects current trends and customer needs. You will work closely with our production team to ensure designs are functional and stylish.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine footwear designs while staying aligned with latest fashion trends.
• Utilize CAD software to produce design prototypes and visual representations.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Ensure sustainability practices are incorporated into design processes.
• Review and approve samples, making necessary adjustments to meet design specifications.
• Assist in cost analysis of materials and production processes.
• Engage in customer feedback sessions to gather insights on designs.
• Maintain an organized database of design work and materials.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in the footwear industry
