Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Detacher to join our team. The Detacher will be responsible for efficiently separating items from larger textile products, ensuring they are ready for processing or packaging. The ideal candidate should possess keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of machine operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the detaching machinery according to specifications.
• Ensure that all safety measures are in place and followed.
• Identify areas for potential improvement in the detaching process.
• Support team members in achieving production targets and deadlines.
• Document production processes and report any discrepancies.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in training new staff on detaching machine operations.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Training in textile manufacturing is a plus

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in textile manufacturing or machine operation

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
