Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our Durban office. You will be involved in the full project lifecycle, from initial design concepts through to final construction, ensuring that all work meets compliance and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set project objectives and ensure timely completion within budget.
• Evaluate structural systems and materials for efficiency and sustainability.
• Conduct calculations and simulations for structural designs.
• Lead project meetings and effectively communicate progress with stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in structural engineering.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.
• Assist with procurement of materials and contract negotiations.
• Develop risk management strategies for project execution.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering

• Structural Analysis Software
