As an Investment Banker in our Johannesburg office, you will be pivotal in executing various financial transactions, analysing market trends, and providing sound financial advice. The position calls for a strong financial background complemented by excellent interpersonal skills, as you'll be engaging with clients and stakeholders to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend potential investment projects.
• Engage in deal origination, structuring, and execution.
• Build extensive financial models to guide client decisions.
• Liaise with legal and compliance teams to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
• Actively participate in strategy sessions to develop innovative investment products.
• Support clients through the investment cycle, providing insight and recommendations.
• Draft and review investment agreements and financial documentation.
• Mentor junior analysts and interns in financial modeling and analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Master's degree in Finance preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in a corporate finance or investment banking role

Certifications

• CFA® Level II Candidate
• Investment Banking Certificate from an accredited institution
