Job Description

We seek an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Cape Town clinic. You will be responsible for providing compassionate care to animals, performing various diagnostic procedures, and assisting in surgical operations. Your expertise will help enhance the overall health and well-being of our furry patients.

Responsibilities

  • Help with examinations and treatment procedures for animals.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests, record results, and assist in procedures.
  • Administer treatment plans as directed by the veterinarian.
  • Ensure a high standard of patient care throughout the clinic.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure a clean working environment.
  • Educate and engage pet owners in their animals' health management.
  • Assist in training new staff and interns.
  • Support the veterinary team in surgical procedures as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Science
  • Advanced certification as a Veterinary Technician is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in veterinary practices
