Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Yard Person to ensure the organization's yard's cleanliness and efficiency. In this role, you'll manage inventory, receive and dispatch goods, and operate yard equipment.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the yard to enhance operational efficiency.
• Accurately record inventory movements and updates.
• Utilize yard equipment safely and effectively.
• Support the logistics team with loading and unloading tasks.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols throughout the yard.
• Communicate with team members to ensure streamlined operations.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance checks on machinery.
• Assist with training new employees on yard procedures.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in logistics or warehouse management

Technical Skills

• Logistics Management
• Heavy Machinery Operation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving Skills

Certifications

• Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations: Understanding of safety practices within a warehouse environment.
