Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental regulations and a passion for sustainable practices. You will be responsible for providing expert advice to our clients, conducting environmental impact assessments, and developing strategies for environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance projects and audits.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify environmental risks.
• Draft and present reports on environmental assessments to stakeholders.
• Advise clients on reducing their carbon footprint.
• Conduct field investigations and data collection.
• Review and analyze environmental laws and policies.
• Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries and support.
• Monitor and report on environmental trends impacting clients.
• Develop training materials for environmental compliance.
• Participate in workshops and conferences related to environmental issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field
