Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bloemfontein. You will be involved in a variety of projects including roads, bridges, and commercial buildings, playing a key role in the planning and execution stages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and assistants.
• Utilize project management software to keep projects organized.
• Evaluate and recommend materials and technologies for projects.
• Communicate with government agencies regarding zoning and permits.
• Prepare and deliver progress reports to senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering

Certifications

• Registered Engineering Technologist (RET)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Environmental Impact Assessments: Familiarity with conducting environmental assessments would be beneficial.
