Slip Presser

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Slip Presser to oversee the operation of our slip-press machines. You will maintain quality oversight throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring our products meet the necessary standards.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor the operation of slip-press equipment.
• Conduct inspections on finished products for quality assurance.
• Assist in the training of new staff on slip pressing protocols.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Keep accurate production records as required.
• Engage in problem-solving during production hindrances.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Preferred previous experience in slip-pressing or similar manufacturing roles.

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail

• Basic understanding of ceramic production processes

Advantageous

• Experience in operating slip-casting machines: Familiarity with the operation of slip-casting machines is preferred.
