Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our Pretoria team. Your role will involve creating clear and concise documentation for our products, ensuring it meets the needs of our users. You will collaborate with engineers and product managers to gather information and understand product functionality, translating complex concepts into user-friendly content.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex technical information into easy-to-understand documentation.
• Utilize feedback from users and engineers to improve documentation quality.
• Collaborate with UX designers to ensure documentation aligns with user experience.
• Research industry standards and best practices for technical writing.
• Create and oversee the documentation schedule and deliverables.
• Perform quality checks on documentation for consistency and compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in technical writing or related fields.

Technical Skills

• Content Management Systems
• XML and HTML

Certifications

• Technical Writing Certification from a recognized institution
