Responsibilities

• Draft design proposals including mood boards and material samples.
• Collaborate with construction teams to align design vision with practical execution.
• Evaluate existing spaces and make recommendations for renovations or improvements.
• Foster positive relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
• Conduct post-project follow-ups to gather client feedback and ensure satisfaction.
• Manage any necessary adjustments during the design process as per client feedback.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance design skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture is preferred
• Advanced certifications in design software are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in commercial interior design

Technical Skills

• SketchUp
• Design Software (like Revit)

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Adaptability

Certifications

• NCIDQ Certification
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
