Job Description

As a Public Health Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and evaluating public health initiatives to enhance community health outcomes. You will collaborate with various stakeholders including government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations to implement effective health programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement public health programs addressing community health needs.
• Conduct health assessments and surveys to evaluate public health initiatives.
• Collaborate with local government and healthcare organizations to improve health outcomes.
• Develop educational materials and health campaigns to raise awareness.
• Facilitate training and workshops for community health workers.
• Analyze data to monitor health trends and propose interventions.
• Maintain records and prepare reports for stakeholders regarding health initiatives.
• Advocate for policy changes that benefit public health.
• Engage with community members to assess health needs and gather feedback.
• Participate in public health emergencies and respond accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in public health or a related field
