Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage our logistics operations in Durban. This role involves coordinating deliveries, optimizing routes, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of transportation schedules and delivery strategies.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff for effective stock management.
• Implement cost-effective transportation solutions.
• Ensure that all logistics activities comply with company policies.
• Monitor and report on the logistics department performance metrics.
• Provide training and support to junior logistics staff.
• Assist in budget preparation for the logistics department.
• Handle any logistics-related issues or emergencies that arise.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of experience in logistics management

• Supply Chain Management

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
