Job Description

We are looking for a Medical Doctor to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, conducting examinations, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in a timely manner.
• Implement and monitor treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Conduct follow-up consultations and coordinate care with specialists.
• Document patient interactions and treatment responses accurately.
• Facilitate access to necessary resources and referrals.
• Participate in professional development activities and training sessions.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably within primary care

Technical Skills

• Clinical Practice
• Patient Communication

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in pediatric care or geriatrics: A background in specialized population health management.
• Bilingual abilities: Fluency in Afrikaans or other South African languages is a plus.
