Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Social Worker to join our team in Gqeberha. You will work with individuals and families to develop tailored treatment plans aimed at improving mental well-being. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mental health advocacy, demonstrate empathy, and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management.
• Facilitate group therapy and support sessions.
• Conduct outreach to promote mental health awareness in the community.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education to clients and families about mental health resources.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Psychology
• Master's degree in Social Work preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a related field

Certifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
