Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Social Worker to join our team in Gqeberha. You will work with individuals and families to develop tailored treatment plans aimed at improving mental well-being. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mental health advocacy, demonstrate empathy, and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in developing coping strategies and life skills.
• Collaborate with other social services to address client needs.
• Create and lead workshops on mental health topics.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss client care strategies.
• Offer support and guidance to clients in navigating the healthcare system.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Psychology
• Master's degree in Social Work preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a related field

Certifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
