Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Physiotherapist to join our team at Allied Health Clinic in East London. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to our patients. You will work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility and improving overall quality of life. Expertise in manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education will be essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose physical impairments and movement dysfunctions.
  • Create tailored treatment interventions based on best practices.
  • Conduct hands-on therapeutic exercises and educate patients on self-management strategies.
  • Track treatment effectiveness and modify approaches when necessary.
  • Participate in team meetings to coordinate patient care.
  • Promote health through engagement in wellness initiatives.
  • Provide training sessions for community health programs.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
  • Engage with families to support patient recovery processes.
  • Utilize electronic medical records to ensure continuity of information.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy or related health field preferred
Experience
  • 3 years experience in rehabilitative settings
