We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement aerospace systems and technologies, contributing to cutting-edge projects that advance the aerospace industry.
Responsibilities
Lead engineering projects for the design and production of aerospace systems.
Evaluate and enhance existing systems for performance and safety.
Interface with suppliers and manufacturers for project procurement.
Conduct site visits and inspections during project lifecycles.
Implement quality assurance processes for aerospace projects.
Provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
Review and approve engineering documentation and designs.
Assist in preparing grant proposals for aerospace research funding.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions on aerospace technologies.
Network with industry professionals to represent the company at engineering events.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or relevant discipline
Master's degree or MBA is a plus
Experience
5+ years of aerospace engineering experience with leadership capabilities
