Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement aerospace systems and technologies, contributing to cutting-edge projects that advance the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects for the design and production of aerospace systems.
• Evaluate and enhance existing systems for performance and safety.
• Interface with suppliers and manufacturers for project procurement.
• Conduct site visits and inspections during project lifecycles.
• Implement quality assurance processes for aerospace projects.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
• Review and approve engineering documentation and designs.
• Assist in preparing grant proposals for aerospace research funding.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on aerospace technologies.
• Network with industry professionals to represent the company at engineering events.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or relevant discipline
• Master's degree or MBA is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of aerospace engineering experience with leadership capabilities
