We are seeking an experienced Investment Banker to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a proven track record in managing client relationships and executing investment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver financial advisory services to clients in a timely manner.
• Implement strategies for enhancing client investment performance.
• Negotiate terms and pricing of financial products with clients.
• Contribute to the drafting of memoranda and other documentation for transactions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes impacting investments.
• Mentor junior investment bankers in analytical and research skills.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive records of investment activities.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss investment strategies and updates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in investment analysis or corporate finance

Technical Skills

• Quantitative Analysis
• Investment Strategy Development

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Client Relationship Management

Certifications

• Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA)
• Investment Banking Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
