Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect based in Cape Town. Your role will be pivotal in helping our clients leverage cloud technologies effectively while ensuring best practices in security and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of high-availability cloud architectures.
• Assess and recommend cloud solutions that are cost-effective and fit within the organizational budget.
• Optimize existing cloud applications for enhanced performance and lower costs.
• Engage with clients to understand their operational needs and strategic goals.
• Document and communicate design decisions and architectures to stakeholders.
• Participate in client meetings to clarify project objectives and requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in designing cloud architectures.

Technical Skills

• Docker
• Kubernetes

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Languages

• English: Fluent
