Job Description

The Structural Engineer will collaborate closely with the project team to ensure efficient design and construction practices. This role requires a strong technical foundation and problem-solving skills to tackle engineering challenges effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the structural engineering design and ensure accuracy.
  • Perform calculations and simulations to analyze stability.
  • Work in partnership with construction teams to resolve issues.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of proposals.
  • Review project specifications and contracts.
  • Educate and mentor junior engineering staff.
  • Monitor and evaluate the application of engineering principles.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and practices.
  • Assess project risks and implement risk management strategies.
  • Engage with municipal and governmental agencies as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering
