We are looking for a meticulous Auditor to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and providing insights to enhance financial performance. Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments to identify areas for potential improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of financial controls within the organization.
• Interact with clients to understand their business operations and needs.
• Train and supervise junior auditors in audit procedures.
• Prepare detailed documentation for audits.
• Provide analytical support and consult on financial matters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent qualification
• Master's degree in relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of auditing experience

Technical Skills

• Taxation Knowledge
• Data Analytics

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills
• Project Management

Certifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of financial forecasting: Ability to apply forecasting techniques to assist clients in financial planning.
• Knowledge of forensic auditing practices: Skill in conducting forensic audits to uncover fraud or financial discrepancies.
