Job Description

We are on the hunt for an experienced Civil Engineer to contribute to various infrastructure projects in Johannesburg. This role will involve planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in civil engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD software to create project designs and schematics.
• Review and approve engineering plans and drawings.
• Supervise the construction teams on site to ensure best practices.
• Provide mentoring and training to junior staff.
• Investigate construction accidents and provide recommendations for safety improvements.
• Strategize project delivery to optimize efficiency and quality.
• Support project planning efforts by contributing expertise and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5-7 years of relevant experience
