We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring that our IT infrastructure runs smoothly. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Engage with users to establish their support needs.
• Install IT equipment for new employees and onboarding processes.
• Monitor IT systems for performance issues and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with other IT staff on projects and system upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining network infrastructure.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT support

Technical Skills

• Hardware Troubleshooting
• Help Desk Software

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• ITIL Foundation

Languages

• English: Fluent
