Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate Interior Designer to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creating stunning interiors that meet clients' needs and reflect their style. You'll work on various projects from concept to completion, collaborating closely with clients and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive design plans that comply with client expectations.
• Engage in client consultations to understand their vision and functional needs.
• Review project bids and select contractors and vendors as appropriate.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.
• Compile and maintain project documentation, including contracts and change orders.
• Develop lighting and color schemes that enhance interior spaces.
• Participate in trade shows and exhibitions to stay current in the industry.
• Collaborate with marketing to showcase design projects.
• Provide educational resources to clients on design choices and functionality.
• Cultivate a strong network of supplier relationships to benefit project sourcing.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• Master's degree in Interior Architecture is preferable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in interior design or relevant fields

Technical Skills

• 3D Rendering
• Space Planning
• Material Selection

• Client Relations
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Interior Designer (CID)
• Green Building Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
