Job Description

As a Warehouse Optimization Specialist in Cape Town, you will be responsible for streamlining our inventory management processes. You will leverage cutting-edge technologies and best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency within our warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute strategies for efficient inventory management.
• Enhance system operations for tracking and managing stock levels.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to optimize deliveries.
• Analyze inventory KPIs and report on performance metrics.
• Lead initiatives to reduce waste and excess inventory.
• Provide insights for regulatory and compliance reporting.
• Support cross-training of warehouse staff for operational flexibility.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a logistics or warehouse optimization role

• Project Management Software

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of E-commerce Logistics: Experience with inventory management specific to e-commerce operations.
• Familiarity with Automated Systems: Experience with automated inventory management systems would be advantageous.
