Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Manager to lead our auditing team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in auditing processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the successful execution of audits, adhering to tight deadlines.
• Provide strategic direction to audit teams and assess their performance.
• Draft and review comprehensive audit reports for accuracy and clarity.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss audit results and recommendations.
• Foster relationships with stakeholders to enhance collaboration.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the audit department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• Professional qualification such as CA(SA) is highly desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience managing audit teams

Technical Skills

• Auditing Software Proficiency

Certifications

• CIA or equivalent is advantageous
• Completed training in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
