Job Description

We are searching for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our Cape Town team. In this role, you will manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and assist in preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Prepare and maintain monthly financial reports.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations.
• Input financial data into accounting software accurately.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Provide support during audits.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with team members on financial projects.
• Maintain organized financial records for easy access.
• Communicate with clients regarding invoices and payments.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Certificate in Bookkeeping or Accounting is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
