Job Description

As an Insurance Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and settling insurance claims for our clients. You will work closely with policyholders and other relevant parties to ensure accurate and timely resolution of claims.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the extent of damages or loss.
  • Review policy terms and conditions.
  • Maintain accurate claims records and prepare reports.
  • Assist in training junior claims staff.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations.
  • Proactively identify fraudulent claims.
  • Communicate with claimants regarding their claim status.
  • Monitor and manage claims through to resolution.
  • Provide guidance and support to policyholders during the claims process.
  • Participate in team meetings to improve claims processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Insurance or related field
  • Professional certification in insurance adjusting is highly desirable.
Experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience in claims handling, preferably in property and casualty insurance.
