Job Description

We are seeking a qualified pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in Johannesburg. This role involves dispensing medication, advising on health and wellness, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing excellent patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care and support for chronic disease management.
• Assist in the development of pharmacy protocols and policies.
• Stay updated with the latest pharmacotherapy guidelines and advancements in pharmacy practice.
• Provide support in training and mentoring junior pharmacists.
• Respond to medication queries from patients and healthcare professionals.
• Participate in community health initiatives to promote better health outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) or equivalent
• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in clinical pharmacy or a hospital setting
