Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy.
• Educate patients on maintaining oral health between visits.
• Ensure all dental instruments are properly sterilized.
• Support dentists during examinations and procedures.
• Document patient care in electronic health records.
• Help manage inventory of dental supplies.
• Promote a patient-friendly environment.
• Stay current on dental hygiene advancements.
• Participate in community outreach programs.
• Assist in scheduling follow-up appointments as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene or related field
• Advanced Dental Hygiene certification is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a dental practice setting
