Job Description

We are seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist to provide exceptional support and resolve technical issues for our users in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to user support requests and inquiries.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware and software.
  • Escalate complex problems to the appropriate technical teams.
  • Create and manage support tickets while ensuring updates are communicated.
  • Provide software installations and training to end-users.
  • Assess user needs and provide appropriate incentives and guidance.
  • Assist in maintaining system security and user access controls.
  • Support IT initiatives to optimize performance and service delivery.
  • Analyze trends in user support requests for continuous improvement.
  • Foster a user-friendly environment through clear communication and problem-solving.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or a help desk role.
