Job Description

As an Architect at Innovative Designs Ltd., you will lead design efforts on a wide range of projects, from initial concept through to completion. Your role will include drafting architectural plans, collaborating with engineers and contractors, and ensuring that all projects comply with local building codes and regulations. Responsibilities

• Lead design meetings and brainstorming sessions.
• Draft project proposals and presentations for potential clients.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new projects.
• Research and recommend sustainable building materials.
• Coordinate with other professionals, such as electricians and plumbers.
• Utilize building information modeling (BIM) technology for design work.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent
• Master's degree in Architecture is a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in architecture within a firm

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent
