Tax Specialist

Job Description

As a Tax Specialist in our Johannesburg office, you will provide expert tax advice to our clients across various sectors. You will be involved in preparing tax returns, conducting research on tax regulations, and advising clients on tax implications for different transactions. Strong analytical skills and up-to-date knowledge on tax legislation will be critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax health checks for clients.
• Coach and mentor junior staff on tax compliance matters.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on tax updates and legislation.
• Collaborate with other departments for seamless client service.
• Assist with payroll tax compliance and reporting.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated in the field.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Honours or master's degree in Taxation is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a tax role
