Job Description

As a Dermatopathologist, you will play a crucial role in examining skin specimens and diagnosing various skin diseases. You will work collaboratively with dermatologists and healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and devise effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed evaluations of skin specimens to diagnose a wide range of skin disorders.
• Communicate effectively with referring physicians regarding patient cases and treatment proposals.
• Utilize electronic medical records systems for documentation and reporting.
• Advise on best practices for specimen collection and submission.
• Participate in research activities, contributing to the advancement of dermatopathology.

Requirements

Education

• Medical degree (MBChB or equivalent)
• Specialization in Dermatopathology or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in dermatopathology

Technical Skills

• Skin specimen analysis
• Report Writing

Certifications

• Fellowship in Dermatopathology
• Board Certification in Pathology

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in private practice: Background in working within a private dermatopathology practice.
