Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Auditor to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of auditing practices and a knack for detail. This role involves examining and analyzing financial statements to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, thus providing assurance to stakeholders. You will work closely with clients, assisting them in maintaining high standards of financial reporting and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit planning discussions and outline scopes of audit tasks.
• Analyze financial information to develop audit strategies.
• Collaborate with management to create action plans based on audit results.
• Prepare and present audit findings during management meetings.
• Maintain records of audit evidence, documents, and reports.
• Utilize auditing software tools to enhance audit efficiencies.
• Ensure thorough follow-through of audit recommendations.
• Provide technical assistance to clients concerning financial guidelines and requirements.
• Engage in continuous professional development and education.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Additional certifications such as CFA or ACCA are advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in auditing field or financial compliance roles
