Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing chemical processes and products, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize chemical manufacturing processes.
• Perform risk assessments and implement safety protocols.
• Coordinate with suppliers for raw materials and equipment.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new products.
• Prepare and present technical reports to management.
• Lead project teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Manage budgets and resources for engineering projects.
• Work with quality assurance teams to meet product standards.
• Support production staff with technical advice and solutions.
• Initiate and lead research projects for new technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Advanced certifications in chemical processing are advantageous.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
