Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will assist pharmacists with dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Help with the accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
• Oversee inventory management and ordering processes.
• Engage with patients to provide exceptional service.
• Protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Guide patients on medication protocols and potential side effects.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines.
• Facilitate insurance claims and address billing questions.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Pharmacy
• Certificate in Pharmacy Technology is advantageous

Experience

• 1-2 years of pharmacy experience is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
