The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating risks and determining premium rates for insurance policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and providing excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments for insurance applications in line with policy guidelines.
• Establish premium rates based on thorough analysis and data evaluation.
• Interact with applicants to discuss underwriting decisions and policy recommendations.
• Support compliance initiatives by staying updated with legislative changes.
• Develop and refine underwriting techniques and processes.
• Collaborate with claims personnel to ensure smooth policy execution.
• Assist in training new hires on underwriting practices.
• Review and report on underwriting performance metrics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience in underwriting or insurance-related roles

Certifications

• Associate in Commercial Underwriting (ACU)
• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)

Languages
