Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Electrical Engineer to drive projects from concept through to completion. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative electrical solutions that power our future.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Conduct tests and inspections of electrical systems for compliance.
• Collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
• Analyze data to make informed design decisions.
• Participate in meetings to discuss project progress and address challenges.
• Stay updated on trends and advancements in electrical engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical design or project implementation

Technical Skills

• Electrical load calculations
• Renewable energy systems

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Leadership

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• LEED Green Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certifications in energy efficiency or sustainability: Any certifications related to energy efficiency will be beneficial.
• Knowledge of local electrical regulations: Familiarity with South African electrical standards and procedures.
