We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic analytics team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data analysis and machine learning, helping to drive insights and build predictive models that can transform company operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation.
• Implement data pipelines for efficient analytics processes.
• Monitor model performance and retrain models as needed.
• Conduct A/B testing to measure the effectiveness of models.
• Support ad-hoc analytics requests from business units.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
• Master's degree in Data Science or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a Data Scientist role
