Eco Solutions Ltd. seeks an Environmental Engineer to support our mission in promoting sustainability. Your role will involve analyzing environmental data, designing green technologies, and collaborating with teams to create environmentally friendly engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze environmental data to provide recommendations.
• Develop strategies to minimize environmental impact.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders on project requirements.
• Review engineering plans for compliance with environmental regulations.
• Conduct training and workshops on environmental awareness.
• Support project managers in the development of project budgets related to environmental needs.
• Assess potential environmental risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Engage with local communities regarding environmental concerns.
• Facilitate public consultations regarding environmental projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or similar

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

• Environmental Modeling Software
• GIS Applications

• Project Management

Certifications

• Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Renewable Energy Systems: Experience or knowledge in renewable energy solutions and technologies.
• Experience with Environmental Audits: Background in conducting environmental audits and assessments.
