As a Fashion Designer at Fashion House SA, you will create exceptional designs that resonate with our brand identity. You'll be responsible for conceptualizing new collections, selecting fabrics, and working closely with our production team to bring your visions to life. The ideal candidate is highly creative, has a keen sense of current fashion trends, and possesses strong technical skills in garment construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to final product.
• Create mood boards and concept presentations for collections.
• Collaborate with other designers and departments for cohesive branding.
• Monitor production timelines to meet launch dates.
• Stay updated on global fashion trends and customer preferences.
• Assist in managing design budgets and timelines effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or equivalent
• Fashion business management qualification is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in a similar role with a strong portfolio

Technical Skills

• Fashion Illustration
• Sewing and Garment Construction

Certifications

• Certified Fashion Designer

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
