We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our growing team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients' digital assets through proactive security measures, vulnerability assessments, and incident response strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security architectures for systems and networks.
• Coordinate incident response activities during security breaches.
• Manage and monitor security infrastructure, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Perform risk assessments and vulnerability analyses on systems.
• Document security incidents and track remediation efforts.
• Work with compliance teams to align security with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Provide technical guidance and support for security-related issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity

• Cloud Security
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)

Languages

• English: Fluent
