Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support pharmacists in providing medications and healthcare products to patients. You will play a pivotal role in inventory management, prescription filling, and patient education, ensuring the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the compounding of medications as per prescription.
• Monitor drug storage conditions and expiration dates.
• Provide training and guidance to junior pharmacy staff.
• Engage in continual professional development and training.
• Support in the implementation of quality assurance measures.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years in community or retail pharmacy

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in a specialty pharmacy: Previous work experience in a pharmacy specializing in certain medication types.
