Pharmaceutical Development Technician

Job Description

The Pharmaceutical Development Technician will play a crucial role in supporting the development of new pharmaceutical products and enhancing existing ones. You will collaborate with scientists and engineers in a laboratory environment, conducting experiments and analyzing data to ensure the highest quality of pharmaceutical offerings.

Responsibilities

• Design and run laboratory experiments for product development.
• Perform quality control tests on raw materials and finished products.
• Evaluate analytical data for product efficacy.
• Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
• Record and maintain accurate experimental data and findings.
• Collaborate with other departments for product launch initiatives.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates.
• Contribute innovative ideas for product improvement.
• Train and guide junior technicians in laboratory procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of product specifications and protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences

Experience

• Preferred experience with formulation development.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Quality by Design (QbD): Familiarity with QbD principles is an asset.
